SILVER OR GOLD TEQUILA FOR MARGARITAS
For the ultimate margarita experience, silver tequilas are better for margaritas than gold tequila. Fortunately, there are many brands that are not too expensive and are great for all prices ranges. The main thing is to look for a silver tequila that is 100% made from agave. That is the main ingredient tequilas are made from and will provide the best quality.
COCONUT CREAM VS. CREAM OF COCONUT
When it comes to this ingredient, there is a huge difference between coconut cream and cream of coconut. Coconut cream is made out of unsweetened coconut, while the cream of coconut has added sugar. Coconut cream is with a higher proportion of coconut solids to produce a high-fat, it is easy to whip up, but it’s made without any sugar. It is also more thick, but the cream of coconut has a syrupier texture. If you can’t find coconut cream, you can absolutely use cream coconut or coconut milk even to substitute this ingredient.
