WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS?
- Perfect for summertime. Easy, delicious, and great for a large crowd.
- The flavor combination is extremely good.
- Makes a great refreshing cocktail for parties.
- This sangria is fizzy, sweet, dry and fruity. So good!
WHITE WINE STRAWBERRY SANGRIA
For this recipe, I chose to use sweet white wine as the base of the cocktail. It goes really well along with the fizzy Rosé and strawberry liqueur. You can absolutely work around this recipe and use some alterations, such as :
- Sparkling water or sparkling wine instead of Rosé
- Simple syrup, granulated sugar, sugar cubes or honey instead of strawberry liqueur
- Add in more fruits and berries, such as oranges, raspberries, etc.
The possibilities for this recipe are endless. You just have to choose something that feels better for your own taste.
INGREDIENTS NOTES
Strawberry Liqueur – to make this summer sangria sweet and fruity. It adds a little more strawberry flavor too.
Fresh Strawberries – we also added some blueberries for that color pop, but it’s optional. The main thing is to add freshly cut strawberries.
Sweet White Wine – Moscato, Riesling, or Wine of Choice. This ingredient definitely has to be chilled. You can also try out lime soda or strawberry juice instead of sweet white wine.
Rosé sparkling wine – this has to be chilled. You can also use Chardonnay sparkling wine instead of Rosé.
