PRO TIPS
If you want to make the Jell-O shots more colorful, you can add a few drops of food coloring to the mixture before pouring it into the shot glasses.
Don’t use too much alcohol: adding too much alcohol can prevent the Jell-O from setting properly. Stick to the recommended amount of alcohol in the recipe.
Keep the Jell-O shots refrigerated until you’re ready to serve them. If you’re bringing them to a party or event, make sure to transport them in a cooler to keep them chilled.
You can make Jell-O shots without alcohol. Simply omit the vodka in the recipe and replace it with an equal amount of cold water. The Jell-O will still set properly and you can decorate the shots with gummy bears or other toppings as desired.
