In a medium-sized bowl, mix the refried beans and softened cream cheese until well combined. Set aside.
If you prefer chilled dip cups, refrigerate the refried bean and cream cheese mixture for about 1 hour.
Once chilled (if desired), it's time to layer the dip cups. Start by spooning about 2 tablespoons of the refried bean and cream cheese mixture into the bottom of each cup.
Next, add a layer of guacamole on top of the bean and cream cheese mixture, using about 3 tablespoons in each cup.
Spoon a layer of sour cream on top of the guacamole, using about 2 tablespoons in each cup.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese, sliced black olives, diced tomatoes and one sliced jalapeno evenly across the top of each cup.
Finally, garnish each cup with nachos or tortilla chips for decoration.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
