RECIPE FAQ’S
HOW TO GARNISH GINGERBREAD MARTINI?
The possibilities are endless to garnish this indulgent cocktail. I always like to make the most epic glass rims so you can have an extra sweet treat, such as, this gingerbread cookie rim. You can also top them off with some whipped cream, a cinnamon stick and an additional gingerbread cookie man to make them more festive and fun.
HOW TO MAKE NON-ALCOHOLIC GINGERBREAD MARTINI?
Non-Alcoholic Version: Replace the gingerbread-flavored vodka with gingerbread syrup or gingerbread-flavored coffee syrup for a non-alcoholic version. Omit the coffee liqueur and Irish cream liqueur. Increase the amount of half-and-half or cream for a creamier texture.
Dairy-Free Version: Substitute the half-and-half or cream with your preferred non-dairy milk alternative, such as coconut milk or almond milk. Use dairy-free whipped cream for garnish.
HOW TO MAKE GINGERBREAD SIMPLE SYRUP?
Simply add the sugar, water, ground ginger, molasses, and cinnamon stick to a medium pot and bring to just a boil until the sugar is completely melted. Allow it to completely cool down before using it. So easy!
CAN I POUR IT OVER ICE?
Yes, you can. Although, I think that it’s better to use ice only in the cocktail shaker to keep it fresh. I think that it’s better to leave out the ice in glass for this martini recipe so that the cocktail is not too cold and to keep things smooth.
