This is a very special and unique margarita recipe that is perfect for any special occasions, such as, baby shower (especially if you are having a girl!, bridal shower, Weddings, Birthdays and anytime you need a sweet, pink drink. You can also switch the pink cream soda and pink cotton candy to a blue one so that you have a blue baby shower cocktail if you’re having a boy! This margarita has a very unique and wonderful flavor thanks to the cotton candy and cream soda combination. It’s one of the best cocktails to make in the summertime, it is sweet, strong and just perfect for the sunny days.

PINK COTTON CANDY COCKTAIL

Although the cocktail screams all things pretty and pink, this margarita recipe is actually a strong one. You can experiment with it and make it milder by adding more lime juice and cream soda. But margaritas are about all things strong, right? That’s why I wanted to create a fun drink that looks pretty and cute, but will actually give you a great kick.

INGREDIENTS NOTES

This recipe is for a single serving, you can double or triple it if you want –

Cotton Candy – pink one or blue one, as you prefer.

Tequila Blanco – or any of your favorite Tequila brands.

Lime Juice – freshly squeezed.

Cream Soda – any flavor will work fine, you can also use Vanilla Pepsi Soda.

HOW TO MAKE COTTON CANDY MARGARITA

• In a cocktail shaker add all the liquids – tequila, cream soda, lime juice – shake well.
• In a cocktail glass, add a bunch of cotton candy.
• Pour the margarita mixture over the cotton candy.
• Add a few ice cubes.
• Add extra cotton candy if you’d like to make your drink sweeter.
