Add the cinnamon stick, whole cloves, and stir gently to combine.
Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
To serve, fill glasses with ice and pour the sangria over the top. If desired, top off each glass with sparkling water or soda water for a little fizz.

TIPS FOR SUCCESS
- You can use any type of red wine you prefer, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, or Pinot Noir.
- If you prefer a sweeter sangria, you can increase the amount of honey or use a sweet red wine.
- You can substitute the pomegranate juice with another type of juice, such as orange or cranberry.
- To make the sangria ahead of time, you can prepare the fruit and mix the ingredients together, then cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- You can also add other fruits to the sangria, such as sliced strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries for extra flavor and color.
- For a non-alcoholic version, you can omit the red wine and brandy and use grape juice or cranberry juice instead.
HOW TO SERVE SPOOKY HALLOWEEN SANGRIA
To serve, add some ice to the glass and pour it over. You can pour fruit into the glass from the pitcher. And then add some oranges, apples, pomegranate seeds if you prefer.

RECIPE FAQ’S
CAN I MAKE THIS SANGRIA AHEAD OF TIME?
Prepare this spooky sangria up to 4 hours in advance. I recommend not making it the night before as the fruits will get mushy. Just add the ingredients to your pitcher, cover, and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
CAN I USE VODKA INSTEAD OF BRANDY?
Yes, sure! Most sangrias are made with brandy and red wine, but you can absolutely opt-in for vodka if you don’t prefer the taste of brandy.
