HOW TO MAKE BRAZILIAN LIMEADE
To make it just blend the limes (with skins on), the water and the condensed milk in a blender. Then you blend it up, but not too long! Only about 15 seconds of pulsing. Strain it into a pitcher full of ice and that’s it! So easy, so convenient and insanely delicious. THE BIG SECRET IN THIS BRAZILIAN LEMONADE RECIPE
For this recipe you are going to be blending limes with all the skin on them! Yes, you heard me right! I know that some people hate the idea of blending a whole lime with the skin on. But there is nothing to be worried about about the lemonade becoming bitter. The secret here is how long to blend the limes! The longer you blend, the bitterer they’ll become shortly after they’re blended. Blend the limes for just about 10-15 seconds an you are good to go. There really is no need to blend them longer than this.
RECIPE FAQ’S
Why is it called Brazilian lemonade?
A little back story – hundreds of years ago they used to import condensed milk from there, hence the name. Limonada suíça is a popular drink in Brazil. Tangy, tart, a bit creamy, sweet and frothy thanks to the condensed milk. Such an authentic drink that you can easily make at home.
