RED WHITE AND BLUE JELLO SHOTS
These jello shots are not only for 4th of July, but will perfectly fit your Memorial Day or Labor Day get-togethers. You can experiment with the red jello flavors and switch it up to strawberry, cherry, cranberry, raspberry flavors. The blue layer is made with blue berry jello, and as from what I have seen, it can’t be substituted when it comes to pre-packaged blue jello. You can use unflavored gelatin and blue gel food coloring if you can’t find the specific blue jello mix.
INGREDIENTS NOTES
Red Jell-O – any red flavor will work fine. Use unflavored gelatin + red food gel for this layer if you can’t find the red jello. We used cherry jello for this recipe.
Blue Jell-O – we used blue berry blue gelatin mix. Use unflavored gelatin + blue food gel for this layer if you can’t find the blue jello.
Condensed Milk – for the white flag layer.
Beef Gelatin – to make the white flag layer. You can also use any other unflavored gelatin of your choice.
Vodka – get creative and use flavored vodkas – cake vodka, vanilla vodka, cotton candy vodka, etc. Or just go by the original one.
