I am a huge fan of converting classic cocktail recipes into small jello shots. It is such a fun and easy way to entertain your guests without spending too much money. These mojito jello shots are refreshing, full of mint and lime flavor and will be eaten in no time. It is one of out favorite summer jello shots in our household. A fun and easy boozy treat for your next party!
INGREDIENTS NOTES
This recipe is super simple. Here’s how it goes –
Lemon-Lime Soda (such as Sprite or 7UP)
White Rum
Lime Jell-O
Mint Leaves
Cold & Boiling Water
Lime Slices for garnish
HOW TO MAKE JELLO SHOTS
- Whisk together lime jello with boiling water. Mix it until jello dissolves.
- Add in lemon-lime soda, white rum and cold water. Mix it well.
- Fill shot cups 3/4 way full and place them onto a cookie sheet in the fridge. Let them sit in the fridge for about 3-4 hours to firm up.
- Garnish with lime wedges and mint leaves right before serving.
- Serve!

Ingredients
- 1 box lime jello gelatin (3oz)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- lime wedges
- mint leaves
- 1/2 cup lemon lime soda
- 1/2 cup white rum
Instructions
- Step One: Whisk together lime jello with boiling water. Mix it well. Then add cold water.
- Step Two : Add in lemon-lime soda and cold rum. Mix it well.
- Step Three: Fill all the shot cups ¾ way full and place them onto a cookie sheet in the fridge for a few hours to firm up (3-4 hours)
- Step Four: Garnish with Lime wedge, Mint, and fresh whipped cream (optional)
